The sunny all seasons patio was my favorite place to sit and read or watch the sun set over the water, but this home is full of comfortable, cozy places, with a basket of soft blankets in every room and thoughtful local books and conversation starting games. It was clean and well-stocked. The dishwasher wasn’t working when we arrived and the communication was helpful even though the new dishwasher arrived on our last morning! But I can vouch for the brand new dishwasher the next lucky guests will get;)

We loved our stay, and our dog loved the yard! Enough room to play ball in the yard, the neighborhood was great for walks, and he enjoyed hunting for all of the sticks. The house was cozy, with plenty of space for us three. The only odd thing was the TV was an outdated model of Roku, so we had a hard time putting on any movies at night through apps, ended up just watching on our laptop. Not a big deal, just FYI.It was a quick drive into town, and a good launching point to explore other towns or trails in the county. Would definitely rebook!

We really enjoyed our stay in Egg Harbor- the location was beautiful, with water views from the eastern side of the house and screened porch. We thought the home was nicer in person than the photos! We found the home very comfortable and enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood. Our two dogs enjoyed the yard. It was a great home base for a week in Door County. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it appeared to be set up well. We would definitely return again in the future! Thank you- Greta and Erik

HVAC system is complicated. The nights were cold and so was the main living space of the cottage. Better instructions in how to work.the multiple thermostats would be nice.

We loved our stay at Anamcara! It had been a couple years since we stayed in Door County and we usually stay in Fish Creek. We are so happy we booked this home in an area we wouldn't have seen otherwise. It was a great neighborhood for walking our 10 month old puppy and steps from the shoreline to watch the gorgeous Door County sunsets. We met some neighbors as they were still cleaning up from a recent storm and they were very friendly and welcoming. We saw deer throughout that didn't seem to mind us staring back at them. The kitchen was stocked nicely, and there were starter soaps and bathroom items that were appreciated. We especially loved the fire pit area and the cedar porch in the mornings. We would love to book this property again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay here! It's in a beautiful neighborhood in the woods. The house had plenty of space for our family of 3 + our dog. We loved the sun room and can see a piece of the lake and sunsets from there. It's a short drive to egg harbor and all that it has to offer. Overall it was a nice place to call home for our vacation in door county.
