We overall enjoyed our stay at this airbnb strictly for the location to downtown Sister bay for fall fest, and the space for our group. However, there was some negatives that were not what we expected for paying as much as we did. When we arrived, the code they gave us was incorrect. Thankfully they did respond within 2-5 minutes so it was not a huge hiccup. Our biggest complaints were that the property was not clean. There were multiple cobwebs on baseboards, there were many spiders and flies, ant traps and we found a centipede crawling across the kitchen floor!! Super gross! The beds were average comfort and it was quite hot upstairs without the ability to turn on AC. Lastly, the furniture was very cheap. The dining table was not big enough for us all to sit with 6 plates, the barstools were super small and uncomfortable, the couches were very stiff and uncomfortable and the "mini pool table" was the size of my lab-top. The property was built nicely but the finishes were VERY cheap.

Nice property but it’s the third Simple Life property I have stayed at this year. I would love if they were better equipped with some basics like something to cover food, etc.

New house in a great location with very clear check-in/out instructions. A few reasons for the 3-star review:
- Only drips would come out of the faucet/shower head in the upstairs bathroom, and then the shower stopped working completely (the shower lever wouldn’t stay in the “on” position)
- The water would occasionally turn rusty-colored, which ended up staining the toilets by the end of our stay
- Minimal towels
- Very little hand soap in the kitchen/both bathrooms
When I reached out to the host via AirBnB, they never responded (even now). Good thing we didn’t have major issues!
Overall, an okay experience but we probably wouldn’t stay again unless the issues were fixed and host communication was improved.

Great house and property in a private nature-filled area less than 5 minutes from downtown Sister Bay. House is spacious and clean with modern fixtures. The host was very communicative and responsive, and check in / check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would recommend for any group staying in Door County.

Great location, central to all the things we wanted to do without the tourist traffic. Home has a beautiful modern aesthetic and is located on a very private, quiet lot. Plenty of space for a family of 4 to spread out. The kids enjoyed the vintage NES and the darts/corn hole games in the garage.

This is a beautiful house in a very private location, yet just a couple minutes to downtown Sister Bay. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that it just needs an overall deep cleaning. I shared specific details with the management company and they were very appreciative and responsive. If the items that I mentioned are addressed for the next guests, it will most certainly be a 5 star stay for them. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Very nice amply sized cottage. Nicely decorated and well maintained. We loved the location. It was private and serene. Just a short distance from Sister Bay and some wonderful restaurants and shopping. We will stay here again at our next opportunity.
