Calling all pickleball enthusiasts, this home has it's own state of the art, top condition pickleball court outside the fully finished basement.

With a two story great room opening to a wrap-around deck, 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ bath, game room, large yard, pickleball court, and 3 ½ acres of woods and wildflowers to explore, you do not need to look any further for your perfect getaway home!

Beautiful property but needs maintenance
Our family stayed at this beautiful log home at the end of July, and within a short time we discovered some significant issues. My son went out on the balcony outside the upstairs bedroom and was stung three times by a yellow jacket as there was a nest right outside the door. We were unable to use the balcony due to this. We also discovered two bats nest with bat droppings in the driveway roof overhang, which is a significant health concern. We also discovered that there were no working lights in one of the upstairs bedrooms, it could’ve been a simple lightbulb fix, but there were no lightbulbs of that size and so we had to pull a lamp into that room. There were many outlets that did not work, including the GFI outlets in the kitchen and so we had to make coffee in the laundry room. The basement was extremely musty smelling, and the two bedrooms had no windows which could be against code to have people sleeping in them. We contacted Simple Life rentals and they responded immediately saying they would send out a maintenance person between 830 and 8:45 PM however he didn’t show up for almost an hour later. He was able to knock down the wasp nest and spray for insects and did something to get the bats moved. He returned the next morning also later than promised to try to fix the kitchen outlets and bedroom, but was unable to fix them. We did not have working lights in the bedroom with the twin beds the whole stay and did not have working outlets in the kitchen the whole stay. I will say the house and the property were absolutely gorgeous and the perfect size for us with lots of games and amenities, but due to the lack of general maintenance and some of the safety concerns with insects and bats, I would not recommend staying here unless those get fixed. We did also not receive any follow up on the issues from management either, nor did they ask how my son was doing after the stings.
