This cabin is part of a group, on the shores of Kangaroo Lake. Conveniently located close to Bailey’s Harbor. Pretty much as described. Bedrooms are very tight for space and, as it was the end of the season, the cabin was ready for a Spring Cleaning. Very old style resort, screened in porch, campfire pit, etc.
Definitely need to bring some bottled water. The well water is perfectly safe but definitely has that “well water smell and taste.

Bedroom so small. Doorways so narrow I couldn’t get my walker thru. This property is way overpriced. We have stayed at much better places for much less.

We were a bit concerned since big storms rolled in ahead of our stay but all went smoothly. Great communication with VRBO. We had everything we needed. The bed and pillows felt like home. Plenty of fans to keep us cool and comfortable. The lake was a bit rough to go in but lovely to sit on the pier and take in the quiet breeze over the water. Spent most of our time out and about with the dogs. Very dog friendly in Door County!

Cute cottage to stay at for the weekend. We enjoyed our stay and the little community that Simple Life Rentals has at this location. Nice Public fire pit by the water, they supply the fire wood.
One suggestion for this cottage would be add an AC unit.
We would definitely come back to Simple Life Rentals and try another cottage.

We rented Sunflower because we impulsively added three nights to our vacation. It was tidy, and updated nicely. We had 5 people and it was a bit tight for all of us. But the access to Kangaroo Lake was convenient for the kayaks we brought. We were happy with our short stay in this sweet little cottage.

We had a great and peaceful stay at the sunflower cabin this past week. The kids loved the freedom of running to the play area and getting to swim off the dock. We were able to set up family game night in the living area and ride out a quick rain storm without disturbing our vacation.
Only recommendations is notifying visitors of poor tasting drinking water. The water was yellow in color and had an iron taste, our family found it unpleasant and had to travel to find water.
Otherwise we loved it and would come again with lots of bottled water!
