This was a cute little place, reminded us of a tiny home but without any stairs, all one level. Great location, less than 5 min from Downtown Ephraim. Had just what we needed… other than the water heater hadn’t been turned on, so our first morning we didn’t have any hot water to shower with. Had we known the night before we could have turned it on. And the coffee maker didn’t work, despite trying 3 times, it must have been plugged. So we found coffee in town and still enjoyed our 2 night stay!

Check out procedure should reflect amenities. For example, no dishwasher but told to load and run dishwasher. Good location, easy access to attractions. Clean.

Overall, the stay was okay. Cottage was clean and had mostly everything we needed. But the price with the lack of amenities was hard to get past. When booking, we thought we would have access to the grill and fire pit but did not. In addition, for the size of the home, this was a very expensive stay.

Quaint. Listing was accurate. Everything we needed was there. One concern, previous guests left their final trash bag in driveway (it was there when we arrived) and it never was addressed in our 4 day stay. Would do it again.

We had a very nice stay. This airbnb is in a very nice location close to a lot of fun things. We went to Door County to visit Peninsula State Park and the park was not even 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Place is super small and dated. No place to sit and relax while there. Kitchen if minimally equipped compared to other places we have stayed.. When arriving the door handle would not unlatch. We had to reach out to Simple life for assistance. They had maintenance come out to look at it and did nothing to fix it, just stated that it needs further repairs. We ended up getting a screw driver and fixing the handle ourself after we could get back in. Door, latch, and lock are in poor shape making it a pain to get in and out. Also upon arrival there was a strong harsh chemical cleaner smell that lingered the entire stay, we had to have the windows upon to air the place out most of our stay. The place states they are a pet friendly place to stay, but they are not at all. They have an outrageous fee that they try to slap down on you just before your stay. Was not able to resolve with Simple Life and had to have Airbnb assist use. Would not stay here again and would never rent from SIMPLE LIFE

The house in general is pretty nice but the door obviously doesn’t seal well. The door locks and latches but you can see daylight through it when closed and this can lead to a few bugs inside. Overall great location as far as traveling to different towns with ease. Bed was a little stiff but nothing terrible.

Perfect space for 2! Perfect location for our visit to Sister Bay Fall Festival! My only suggestion would be to provide a drying rack for dishes and perhaps a new coffee maker! It was very slow to brew! Otherwise the home fit our needs!

Can’t recommend this place and area more. Beautiful location between stunning Ephraim and Sister Bay with great restaurants, breweries, wineries and shops. Wonderful hiking and views. The cabin was adorable, quiet, private and peaceful. We had an amazing time.

The cottage was very clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and we didn’t have any issues during our stay. As other reviewers have said- the heater was very loud and did wake us up a few times in the middle of the night. Overall a nice place to stay but a little overpriced for what you actually get.

Good stay! Very cute and quiet place. Had the basics of everything we needed besides a deck of cards. We were gone most of the day, but it was great for my boyfriend and I to stay in at night. Cute little deck too! Perfect for a two person or single person trip.

The tuck away cottage was perfect for my husband and I. The Cottage is very charming and the bed is very comfy! The place was very clean and all you need for a couples stay to enjoy door county. AC unit kept the cottage nice and comfortable too. The property was listed as dog friendly, but the guidebook inside the cottage says pets are not allowed, but the check out instructions indictated otherwise. We did have our small pup with us and found it perfect for him but I think all information needs to be clearer because I got nervous when I read the handbook that I misread information but then found again online where it says pet friendly. All in all we were so happy with our stay! It’s so charming! Very easy access to Ephraim and sister bay. Perfect location along the peninsula! My husband and I would love to stay here again!

The accommodations were as advertised. The bed comfortable, area quiet and convenient. I had thought for the price of the cottage, which was just a few dollars less than one of the resort areas, there would be a few more creature comforts. There was coffee enough for one day only, one comfortable chair, the AC cooled but didn't keep up well. Then the renters are asked to do all dishes, remove the bedding, towels and pile them up. Not a big deal, but not necessary at the resorts. Just some observations. No deal breakers.

We enjoyed our weekend here. Easy to find, good location, central to all of Door County on our first time to the peninsula. Just the right size. Cozy. Bed was comfortable. I’m not sure how, but they do a great job fitting in everything you need into this quaint space, enough storage, enough outlets for all the devices. Wi-Fi worked fine for us. Door lock is a little finicky on the alignment but once we figured that out , we were good.

It is a very nice cabin. It is small but cozy. There is a cool history on the building. Very close to the lakefront. Unfortunately, there was only 1/2 roll of toilet paper for three days and there wasn’t anymore to restock it with. Overall pretty clean other than a dirty shelf that should have been wiped down in the bathroom. There are other nice amenities available i.e. kitchen supplies, coffee and bug spray in the bathroom.

Nice little getaway. Great location, close but far enough away from the busy areas. Extra fees doubled the cost for a weekend. The door handle is neat and rustic looking, but it needs repaired or replaced. Window AC has a hard time keeping up if blinds are left open(they were when we arrived). Overall we had a wonderful time. Although we really didn't spend much time in the cottage other than to sleep, it was a nice quiet spot to end the day in a very busy area this time of year.

The Tuckaway Cottage is a great property for couples wanting a little time together. It’s in a good location for accessing all that Door County has to offer. Only item of concern was the bathroom sink faucet sprayed all over our clothes. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

This property was perfect for our get away. It is right off HWY 42 (main drag) so it provided easy access to everything on the Bay side of DC. It was far enough from the road where you didn't hear traffic (unless it was an obnoxious motorcycle). There were only two glitches we noticed. The heater was VERY loud. Normal tourist season it wouldn't matter as you'd be using AC or open windows, but since it was a little cool we had it on during the evenings. It did a superb job heating the cottage within 10-15 minutes, but don't expect to get any sleep when it kicks on. The other was there was a slight smell when we got in. I'm not sure if a P-Trap had evaporated slightly or what. It was slightly off-putting initially, but open some windows and doors and it aired right out! Everything else was amazing! We'd highly recommend and will definitely consider again for a DC trip!

Perfect for two people. We had everything we needed and the location was close to everything (although not walking distance). It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the whole cabin was very clean. We would definitely stay here again and would have given it 5 stars, but the internet service was spotty.

We had a nice time staying here. The studio was surprisingly big, considering it’s such a cute little cottage from the street! Comfortable bed and easy access. Very clean, and the art on the ceiling above the bed was neat—especially the lights. Downside was that we could not connect to the WIFI since it is located in the main house on the property. We let the managers know that we could not connect, but it was met with a comment about how there wasn’t much they could do and it’s an issue around the area. (My parents are nearby and do not have that issue!) WIFI was a major decision factor for choosing a place to stay, and we suggest to take down that this residence has WIFI until the issue is corrected. (If we had been working from home, we would have had to find another place to stay! I could see this being a problem for other guests if they need trustworthy connection.)
