White Star Point

Welcome to White Star Point, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This secluded waterfront cabin sits on a quiet, wooded, one acre lot in Southern Door County and is perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with family and nature. It is located below a bluff and right on the water with 178 feet of water frontage. The driveway is 540 feet long from the road to the house and is steep including a 90-degree turn. There is a turn-around loop in front of the house.

The home faces due west and sits on a point. You can watch spectacular sunsets right from the large windows in the open concept kitchen, dining and living room. From the shore, you have a panoramic view of the beautiful waters of Green Bay. On a clear night from the water’s edge looking south you can see the Green Bay Harbor Entrance Lighthouse and looking north is the Peshtigo Reef Lighthouse. The dark night sky with limited light pollution offers a wonderful location for star gazing. Wildlife abounds, including turkey, eagles, owls and pelicans plus an occasional raccoon and fox. Bring your water shoes and enjoy a swim. The water is refreshing and warmer than the lake side. Or just enjoy listening to the waves break against the shore as you read a book or write your next novel.

Water Access:
+ Swimming Conditions: Beautiful rocky shoreline with large flat rocks. There are also zebra mussels so swimming shoes are recommended. The shoreline is shallow but becomes deeper the further you go out. Swim at your own risk no lifeguard on duty.

-The water for this property is serviced by a well. At times, you may notice sulfur smell in healthy well water. It is recommended you bring drinking water if you don't prefer well water. It is safe for drinking. Recently added a new Reverse Osmosis water filtration system available on both kitchen sinks.
-This home is geared toward quiet family vacations. We cannot accommodate bachelor/ bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.
