The property is nice. Secluded and surrounded by woods. The wifi didn't work and the host didn't respond to our request to fix it. The grill didn't have any propane, which wasn't a deal breaker but disappointing when we expected to grill. The sink leaks and the bathrooms are pretty out dated.

Excellent location and great responsiveness! Simple Life rentals made our stay feel like home away from home. The secluded location was ideal for relaxation, and yet we weren’t far from all the Door County tourist towns. The farther north on the peninsula we stayed, the fewer people there seemed to be, which is what we were looking for. A great experience in a clean and homey atmosphere.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation home! Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, it offered the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The yard was fantastic—spacious and safe, giving the kids plenty of room to play in between our outings. The surrounding woods were simply stunning. In just a short time, we saw an incredible amount of wildlife. The kids especially loved spotting deer and turkey along the walking path on the property—it became their favorite daily activity! The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to charming towns, beautiful beaches, and great restaurants, making it the ideal base for exploring Door County. The house itself truly felt like a home away from home—comfortable, cozy, and well-appointed. We’re already planning our next visit! In fact, my fiancée is so taken with it that she’s organizing her bachelorette party here. This place is a true gem at a perfect price. Highly recommend!

Very clean, loved the fire pit and general far away wilderness feel. Had a barbecue for grilling and a bench if you want to eat outside and enjoy. Lots of place for parking and lots of pots and pans if you want to cook. Air conditioning did not really work well at all so in the summer it was very hot and definitely required opening windows and trying to get some natural breeze. Internet/wifi/cell phone reception is essentially non existent so if you need to send Emails or do something for work would recommend getting something more in the towns of door county, this will definitely be an unplugged stay.

Only two things we didn’t like about this rental— something smells really weird in this house. Possibly mildew or the sewer line? We couldn’t put our finger on it. The other was internet/phone connectivity, which is understandable considering the remote location, but don’t expect to be able to stream, text, call, or use your phone data all during your stay.
